MANDY MOORE!!!!!

Yes , its true!!! Mandy Moore stopped by at MYERS in the city, which is about 15 min walk from where i stay, to promote her latest movie , SAVED! Hi chen chou, aren't you jealous? Mandy Moore looks so pretty in real life!!! Got her pic (look top) and signature as well! Ran to buy a copy of A Walk To Remember for her to sign. Nearly PK on the escalator during the rush. It was kinda a last minute thing cause we didnt figure that we'd be able to get her autograph at all. We just thought of getting a glimpse of her. Hehe oh well i guess it was worth it eh chen chou? =)

On the other hand, my whole body is still aching from basketball tourney last Sat. We were a last minute entry, and we had problems getting enough players to play cause of drama classes. First half , we were missing one of our best players. 2nd half, we had 2 starters leaving for drama. Sigh. We lost 25-20. Shit happens. At least i had heaps of fun, but im feeling the aftermath now hehe.

The next day was even more tiring. I was planning to get a pair of slippers/sandals so me and my friends went to Smith St. where the factory outlets are at. Shopped all the way from 10am to 5pm and this was wat i ended up with :

3 T-shirts
2 slippers/sandals
1 cap

Total spent = 130 bucks. OMG im broke!!! This is the first time i've ever really SHOPPED and for such a long period of time too. Must have walked a few miles on the trip. I hope my mom doesnt know about this site, or i'd be killed for spending so much LOL. Ouch, my body's aching again....

Tennis is Back!

Yeah i've started playing again. Its coz we found out that Trinity has reserved the tennis courts every monday from 2-5pm and we are eligible to book it for FREE. Since then, every monday is tennis day. Great time to start losing those fats ( though it doesnt seem to be working ). At least now im getting at least 2-3 times of sports a week so im feeling kinda more healthy physically these days, which also explains why im sleeping longer hours =P I'm trying to catch up with homework consistently, but i cant seem to pull myself together to do physics. Oh well ill just pray again that the questions in the exams are about stuff that i am familiar with. Weekend nights are now movie nights, since my friend downloads movies non stop, so there's always something to watch. We watched Girl Next Door and Harold & Kumar last weekend. Girl Next Door is pretty recommendable , but i think H&K is too plain for my likings.

Besides that , its midnight and its 19th of October, so here's a big shout out:

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY DANIEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm its been quite a while since i've last blogged. Oh well, its been a busy week. And just when i thought that things were gonna be pretty light since the hols just ended and its just the beginning of a new term. Boy was i soooooo wrong! Right from lecture one , homework and assignments start piling up , ranging from tutorial sheets to *gasp* ORAL PRESENTATION! Ang guess what was my topic................." Homosexual should have legal equality in society"! Thank god that went pretty well, didn't like forget any lines or anything. But even with that out of the way, there's still heaps of work to catch up . And wat's worse , the topic for the new HOI essay is due soon, and anything that has to do with HOI is S-U-C-K-S!!!! Sigh, oh well at least my last term results werent too bad ( just got em a few days back ) :

Math 1 : 93%
Math 2 : 96.5%
Physics : 93%
EAP : 18.25/20 (highest in intake!)
Lit : 8.25/10

Pretty good eh? I'm pretty amazed at what i've got , i really expected less than that. If i can keep it up, it shouldn't be long till i become a real architect. =)

I end my post with another pic from HOI:
(will be up soon)

The Birthday 24/9

Just a pic from dinner that night :

The Beach 26/9

It was a gloomy and cloudy day. We had planned to go to St Kilda's today and i prayed hard that it wouldnt rain. Thank goodness it didn't. It drizzled and the wind blew hard , but it didn't pour. We took a 20 min tram ride to the beach and started off strolling along the Sunday Market. Its pretty interesting , lots of handicraft , decorative items and unique stuff that'll be great to put all around the house. Too bad i dont own one and besides, the stuff are just too pricey for students like us. We then took a walk down the beach taking some pictures on the way. Loved the breeze of fresh air, its a relief when u live right at the heart of a city... Found some good spots to take more photos on the way : gardens , flowers , port , rocks etc. Eventually we got tired and decided to reward ourselves with a good meal. Had fish and chips , it was really good cause the fish was so freakin fresh ( oh well since its so close to the beach ) and so were the other seafoods available. Visited the nearest cake shop to get a slice of choc & vanilla cake YUMMMYY!!!!

Chadstone
1/10

Our Sydney trip was cancelled for so many reasons so we decided to visit somewhere within Melbourne instead to kill some time. And what better place to visit than one of the biggest shopping mall in Melbourne , CHADSTONE! It was pretty complicated to get there, starting off with 2 train rides followed by a bus ride. Lepaked around just like old times , window shopping and all. The place looked exactly like KLCC, though its smaller than even 1u. We had heaps of fun visiting old places like TOYS R US ( we really had fun! played around with all kinds of toys, brings back so many kiddie memories ) , and mostly shops like Quicksilver, Foot Locker , Mambo , and those kinds of crap. I bought a little gift for myself , a 9.95 wallet from Mambo. Not too bad in my opinion , the price is right and it just looks cool =) I'm starting to really consider getting myself a Gamecube, but im shopping around to make sure i get the best deal....
