Luxury Weekend

Friday - My family arrived early in the morning and gave me a wake up call. Had to walk to their service apartment despite my drowsiness ( watched Dumb & Dumber last nite till 2 ; definitely one of the best comedies out there =D ). Reunited with my parents and bro again. Checked out their room/apartment , probably three times bigger than my apartment. Its really fully equipped , with washing machine, dryer, dish washer, toaster, iron etc. you get the idea. Got a glimpse of tons of stuff that my mom brought over for me ( Man its a lot! ) but i was most excited about my new phone , a Nokia 3200. Its the bubble-buttoned phone that looks really funky and cheap but it turned out to be a very good phone and im lovin it! It has a camera ( tho its really lousy , only for oh-i-really-need-to-take-a-pic-badly-but-i-didnt-bring-my-camera ) , radio and even a built-in flashlight LOL. Still had an hour bfor college so i brought my family to this place for hot choc. Its a place that ill never go myself ( 5.50 for a beverage woot! ) The hot choc is really special cause they serve this cute cut with a burning candle in it and some milk on the top. Then ur supposed to like melt your own chocolate ( they give u a little bowl of it ) and slurp it up using a spoon-straw. Yup it IS spoon + straw. Pretty neat idea. Too bad the flavor wasnt up to our expectations. Good experience tho hehe. <<<<<>>>>>> Later that nite we went Mark's Place for dinner. Its situated opposite my college , and supposedly serves one of the best pizzas in town. Didn't disappoint us. We had Tangy Chicken Supreme pizza, some Carbonara and fried kalamari. Every one of them left us wanting for more SLURP! Ended the day moving some heavy stuff to my apartment.....including a 120gb external hdisk WOOOTT!!!

Saturday - Had to wake up early again to go my parents' place for bfast. My mom cooked some yee mee. Havent tasted that for quite some while..... Next , brought my family to Vic Market to do some shopping. Got some groceries as well as some souvenirs. Nothing for me though , i can go there anytime i want hehe. Had some hot spanish donuts tho yum yum. We spent a huge ammount of time there, till about 2. Later my parents rested at my place , killing time bfor dinner. Sat a tram to Chapel Street where my bro's fren Chin Chai brought us to this restaurant , supposedly the best siu yok in Melb. The place is really busy and fully booked ( we booked also duh ). The food was good, especially the siu yok. Better than Malaysia maannn. Went for gelati for dessert wif my friends and managed to buy the last cup of it. Too bad for my other friends , they had to settle for second best =P Shifted my printer and soundblaster back to my apartment ; there's still more to come

Sunday - Had to wake up early to walk to my parents place AGAIN. Had bacon and eggs this time. The plan was to visit St.Kilda's beach today. After bfast , we shifted the remaining stuff to my apartment ( finally ! ) and off we were to St.Kilda. A little misfortune on the way, the tram broke down and we had to wait 20 min for the next one. Took about another 20 to reach our destination. Walked along the Sunday Market to look at some nice handmade art thingies along the road parallel to the beach. Chin Chai brought us to eat gelati again , he says its comparable to the one we have at Lygon. Lunch was just fastfood, nothing special. We then took a stroll along the beach , taking some pictures on the way. The beach wasn't too special , but beaches are always relaxing aren't they? Hehe. After that i had a appointment to play bball wif my mates and i brought my bro along. Finally it didnt rain on the weekend so we had a pretty good game, but we couldnt stay long cause i wanted to bring my parents to Crown ( remember Crown? ) Took a tram instead of walking this time , what a relief. Ate some buffet from dinner, the food wasn't great but stuffed in as much meat as i could to make my money worth hehe. Later that night we walked to the bridge at Yaara's River to get a good look of the pillars of fire. I soon found out that there were 8 pillars , instead of 3 ( from the last post ) and it looks even more magnificent from there. More walking after that , just to enjoy the scenery and fresh air bfor making our back to the apartment. Had to do some last minute homewoek for college tomoro...."^.^

Haih, you're learning quick. Taking advantage of your parents being there to eat at the expensive outlets. Ahaha. Brilliant.
