The End of the JourneyAt last, our Trinity days are over. The best education year we've ever had has just ended. It's satisfying, now that the exams are over and the holidays have started, but its even more saddening to think that things will never be the same again, not as fun as our Trinity days. Trinity, was memorable, we experienced things we would never have experienced anywhere else. From bonding with people from various countries, to doing stupid things like getting drunk n all.... there was never an uninteresting moment. Here's a recap of what was the most exciting and enjoyable time of my life (not exactly recap but....) :
Arriving in Melbourne - Still remember waiting for 2 annoying hours for immigration to get through. Checked in at Arrow just to find out that we left LipZhun at the airport.....Anyways we got to tour the city a lil with the help of LipZhun's cousin and Karen. Had trouble remembering street names :/
Rawson Village - What an amazing way to introduce Trinity, our very first (and only) orientation camp. This was the time we really got to know each other in Fast Track. Wasn't really close back then, but at least we knew everyone's names and we got together really well. I still recall dancing the whole night, playing captain ball, and just chatting the night away, pinching as much as we can from each other =) Other than that, thanks to the "chicken wing" nickname that Kafaii presented to me, everyone remembered my name (chicken wing). Plus, we were the noisiest bunch of ppl at camp. Even got to spot a koala hanging on a tree ( how rare is that ?) But overall is was damn fun, but i think it will be even more so if we could hold on right now, but we know that aint gonna happen.
Classes - Well this really aint the highlight of the year, but significant nonetheless. At least the classes are more interesting than those in Malaysia, cause class participation is encouraged. As a result, we got to know our lecturers and they got to know us (for good or better). The subjects i found boring thoughwas Lit and Physics but its partly cause of my lack of interest. Math 1 and 2 were not too bad, its just calculations anyways. But of course our EAP classes were the most enjoyable of all thanks to out lame and humerous ( We love u Frank! ). He's probably the best teacher ive ever encountered cause he's just so open minded and he really cares for the students plus he makes classes so interesting ( showing Simpsons on our first class, wat teacher does that??) Oral presentation was pretty fun to do, and even more so looking at other ppl's as it can bcome really funny depending on their topics. And last but not least drama classes, which is different cause we dont even have them back home, and the best thing is that no books are involved! Which brings me on the next point....
Drama - This particular subject deserves an honourable mention mainly cause of the unique things that is preached that we would have never done if not in Trinity. Started off with the solo mime which was difficult but interesting to try out. Solo monologue wasnt too great but was fun to experience nonetheless. However, it was the Drama Night which overshadowed everything else. Having the whole group to present 4 different plays to an audience was extremely satisfying. The crowd played a big part, by showing positive responses to our plays. What was interesting though, was how each group managed to differ from each other although we're presenting the same theme. Plus every group's performance was over par with everyone doing more than their best. The after party was even better - mindless fun and just reliving the moment and cherishing it. Drama Exam was the last drama thingy we had to do and although it wasnt as big as Drama Night, i thought that it was more fun to do cause we could express any idea we like without the teacher's supervision.
Friends - Who can live without them? The main reason behind all the fun. Who would have expected that i would come all the way to Melbourne to make friends with Indos, Sporeans, Chinese (China ppl), and even Japanese? Plus, everyone is friendly and i mean EVERYONE. Not a single asshole or bitch in sight. Its really hard to explain but cause our course is small, everyone has established this strong bond with each other and we basically feed on each other. We started off as hi-byes, but in the end everyone is just so in to each other. Most of us have our own small group of friends but when everyone meets together for an occasion, we become a whole big family once again. Every hangout, every party, just bumping them on the streets, brings joy and warmth to our hearts. Our friendship will be something treasured very dearly by every single of us, im sure. *plus we found out that ppl from other countries can be as lame as kafaii too =P*
Sigh, but everything good must come to an end. Trinity indeed was memorable and i am glad that i chose to come here. Looking back, i couldn't see any reason why i shouldn't. Though i know no one from Trinity would actually read this, but u guys have been really great and made my stay in Melbourne a most enjoyable one. (so far.....)

Ha ha it doesn't? Well i thought its really common to hear someone say that. Besides that, its true aint it? =)
